These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of HireSignal (“the Service”), operated by HireSignal (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
HireSignal is an AI-powered hiring intelligence platform that analyses candidate artifacts and signals to assist HR professionals and engineering teams in evaluating candidates. The Service uses public APIs and large language models to generate scoring reports, interview guides, and hiring recommendations.
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
You may need to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at legal@hiresignal.io if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

Paid plans are billed on a monthly or annual basis through Lemon Squeezy, our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy handles all payment processing and is responsible for the collection of payment, applicable taxes (including VAT), and refunds in accordance with their terms.
Free trials last 7 days. You will not be charged until your trial period ends. You may cancel at any time before the trial ends to avoid being charged.
Subscription fees are non-refundable except as described in our Refund Policy.
The Service and all its original content, features, and functionality are owned by HireSignal and are protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any data you input into the Service. You grant us a limited licence to process your input data solely to provide the Service.
The Service uses AI to generate hiring reports and recommendations. These outputs are for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional HR, legal, or employment advice. You are solely responsible for any hiring decisions you make.
AI outputs may contain errors or inaccuracies. You should always exercise independent judgement and comply with all applicable employment laws in your jurisdiction before making any hiring decision.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
The Service integrates with third-party providers including GitHub (data source), Clerk (authentication), Lemon Squeezy (payments), and Amplitude (analytics). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HireSignal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HireSignal and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which HireSignal is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
