Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all paid subscriptions purchased through HireSignal (“the Service”), operated by HireSignal. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our authorised Merchant of Record.

1. Free Trial

All new Pro subscriptions include a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. You may cancel at any time before the trial ends and you will owe nothing.

If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan and your payment method will be charged.

2. Refund Eligibility

You are eligible for a full refund if:

• You request the refund within 14 days of your first paid charge (after the trial ends).
• You have not used more than 50 analyses since your trial began.

We handle refund requests on a case-by-case basis for requests outside the 14-day window. Contact us and we will try to be fair.

3. Annual Plans

Annual subscriptions are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of the annual charge. After 14 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable, but you will retain access until the end of your paid period.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please email us at billing@hiresignal.io with:

• The email address associated with your account.
• The date of the charge you want refunded.
• A brief reason (optional — we don't require one within the 14-day window).

We will process your refund within 5–10 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method via Lemon Squeezy.

5. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your Account page or via the Lemon Squeezy customer portal. Cancellation stops future charges. You retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period.

Cancelling during a free trial ends the trial immediately and prevents any charge.

6. Non-Refundable Items

• Charges older than 14 days (unless exceptional circumstances apply).
• Annual plan charges after the 14-day window has passed.
• Usage on the Starter (free) plan — the Starter plan has no charges.

7. Payment Processor

All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, who acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions. Lemon Squeezy is responsible for collecting payment, handling tax (VAT/GST), and processing refunds. When you contact us for a refund, we instruct Lemon Squeezy to process it on your behalf.
